Recover A More Youthful Appearance

Augment Your Bone Structure and Recover a More Youthful Appearance

As we age, we naturally lose volume and skin tightness in key areas of the face, leading to loose skin, drooping, and sagging. Fatty deposits can also migrate, moving from areas where they create a youthfully full appearance to areas we’d rather not have them. Hormonal changes and genetics can leave us with thin lips, hollow cheeks, and a weak chin.

Dr. Tebyanian and our surgical team here at Olney Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery believe everyone deserves to feel great about how they look. Facial implants can refine your facial appearance with a safe, straightforward surgical alternative that delivers dramatic, natural-looking results.

Our Facial Implant Options

Regardless of what type of implant you need, our surgical process guarantees the most up-to-date techniques delivered in a pristine surgical environment. Dr. Tebyanian’s advanced surgical education and years of experience allow him to deliver consistently superior results for your chin, cheek, and lip implants in Olney, MD. Your initial consultation will allow you to discuss all your concerns in detail so that Dr. Tebyanian can build a completely customized approach that will address your needs and give you results you will love.

Chin Implants
1

Chin Implants

For patients who desire a more defined or prominent contour to their chin and better facial symmetry, chin implants may be a great approach for you. Dr. Tebyanian will carefully select the ideal size and shape for your chin implant to deliver the results you want. He’ll use a very small incision, usually only 1 to 1.5 cm, meaning your procedure will heal quickly and leave minimal scarring. Your chin implant will start to heal immediately, and your sutures and surgical dressing can be removed from our office after five days.

Lip Implants

Lip Implants

While dermal fillers can give you fuller lips, they don’t last forever. Patients seeking a permanent improvement to the fullness and plumpness of their lips may want to consider lip implants instead. Dr. Tebyanian will place solid lip implants along the entire length of the lip. We use Surgisil PermaLip™ implants because the material is a softer type of silicone that looks and feels natural. Dr. Tebyanian will carefully select implants of the right size and shape for your lips, with tapered edges that follow your natural lip contours. You’ll recover in about five to seven days, although it can take a few months for your lip implants to settle down completely.

Cheek Implants

Cheek Implants

Cheek implants add volume and lift to the cheeks. They can enhance the appearance of the cheekbones for patients with naturally flat cheeks and help recover a more youthful appearance for patients who have lost volume in their cheekbones due to aging. Your solid cheek implants will be custom fitted to your facial features, and only take about two hours to place. After about two weeks, your cheek implants will be completely healed, and you can enjoy renewed confidence in your appearance!

A Meticulous Approach
for Superior Results

Your facial implant recovery process will vary, depending on the type of implant or implants you’ve chosen. Regardless of your specific treatment, however, Dr. Tebyanian’s conservative and efficient approach to surgery ensures fast, comfortable healing for any procedure. Your facial implants will be placed comfortably, with the help of the anesthesia option that’s right for you.

You’ll receive detailed post-operative instructions tailored to your needs, but in general facial implants heal with minimal discomfort. You may have slight bruising in the area of the surgery and some swelling is to be expected. We use only the highest quality medical silicone, which is a safe, biocompatible material with a low risk of rejection by the body. Facial implants are intended to be a permanent solution but can be removed later if desired.
